Nearly two months ago, LG introduced us to the G Pad 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1, the newest members of the G Pad family that previously consisted of only the G Pad 8.3. Strangely, LG didn’t feel like saying much else about the trio of tablets at the time, including their specs or release date. Today the Life’s Good crew has finally loosened up a bit and shared details on the 10.1-inch model.
LG today said that the G Pad 10.1 will make its debut in the U.S. this month followed by launches in Europe, Asia and Latin America later in July. Pricing and availability will vary by market, but we do know what kind of specs the big G Pad will pack:
Like it’s done with its previous Android devices, LG has also loaded the G Pad 10.1 with several custom software features. Those include a clenched fist gesture for selfies, a dual window multitasking feature and Knock Code, which allows the user to set an unlock pattern by tapping on the device’s display.
