We’ve already gotten quite a few early looks at the BlackBerry Passport, including several from BlackBerry itself. The phone still isn’t actually available for purchase, though, and so I’m guessing a lot of mobile fans wouldn’t mind getting another sneak peek. Thankfully, that’s precisely what we’ve got today.
UK mobile retailer Carphone Warehouse accidentally posted a brief video walkthrough for the BlackBerry Passport today. The company quickly pulled it down, but because this is the Internet, a copy was saved and then uploaded to YouTube for all to see. Some of the features highlighted by the clip include:
- 10-megapixel camera
- Square shape for a wider keyboard
- 4.5-inch full HD screen
- Use physical keyboard as touchpad
- 2.3GHz quad-core processor
- BlackBerry Assistant is accessible by button on side of device
- Stainless steel sides
There’s not exactly any new information revealed by this video, but it certainly doesn’t hurt to get another look at the Passport in the flesh before it lands on store shelves. Speaking of which, BlackBerry has said that the Passport is slated to arrive in September, so it shouldn’t be too much longer before carriers start spilling their launch plans.
