Verizon Wireless new single line plan

Heads up, Verizon customers, because yesterday your carrier quietly introduced a new single line plan that you may be interested in.

Verizon is now offering a single line plan that includes unlimtied talk and text as well as 2GB of data, with data overage set at $15 per gigabyte. Pricing for the new plan is set at $60 per month, but anyone that buys a new phone using the Verizon Edge upgrade program can save $10 per month with this plan.

To compare, AT&T offers a plan with unlimited talk and text and 2GB of data for $65 per month, Sprint's Framily plan offers unlimited talk, text and 1GB of data for $55 per month and T-Mobile's got unlimited talk, text and 1GB of high-speed data for $50 or 3GB of high-speed data for $60.

Overall it looks like Verizon's new plan is a decent offering. Sure, 2GB of data may seem insufficient for some, but for most folks that want to be on Verizon's network, it's a respectable option.
