iPhone 6 preorder

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are officially going up for pre-order tomorrow, and all the big US carriers want to make sure that you know exactly how to buy Apple’s new hardware from them.

Apple, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon have all confirmed that they’ll begin accepting preorders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on September 12. AT&T, Verizon and others have said that they’ll start taking orders at 12:01 AM PT/3:01 AM ET, and so I imagine most everyone else will start at that time too.

As far as pricing goes, we know that the 16GB/64GB/128GB iPhone 6 will cost $199/$299/$399 with a two-year contract, while the 16GB/32GB/128GB iPhone 6 Plus will run you $299/$399/$499. Most carriers also have their own financing options, and T-Mobile reached out to us to share its offerings:

  • 16GB iPhone 6: $0 down and 24 equal monthly payments of $27.08
  • 64GB iPhone 6: $99.99 down with 24 monthly payments of $27.08
  • 128GB iPhone 6: $199.99 down with 24 monthly payments of $27.08
  • 16GB iPhone 6 Plus: $0 down with 24 equal monthly payments of $31.24
  • 64GB iPhone 6 Plus: $99.99 down with 24 monthly payments of $31.25
  • 128GB iPhone 6 Plus: $199.99 down with 24 monthly payments of $31.25

So now that preorders are a little more than 12 hours away and we know how the pricing for all of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models breaks down, are you planning or buying an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus? If so, which model do you have your eyes on?
