After making its big debut back in July, the Nokia Lumia 530 will soon make its way onto US shelves.
Cricket will begin selling the Nokia Lumia 530 this Friday, October 3. Pricing will be set at just $49.99, but it’s worth noting that that price “requires activation of qualified wireless service.”
Meanwhile, T-Mobile will launch the Lumia 530 on October 15. If you can’t wait that long for your Magenta Lumia 530, though, Best Buy and Microsoft stores will have the device starting October 5. T-Mo’s Lumia 530 will cost $79.20.
Specs for the Nokia Lumia 530 are as follows:
- 4-inch 854x480 LCD display
- 5-megapixel rear camera
- 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor
- 4GB storage
- microSD slot with support for cards up to 128GB
- 15GB of free OneDrive cloud storage
- 512MB of RAM
- 1430mAh battery
- Windows Phone 8.1
While the Lumia 530 isn’t exactly a barnburner in terms of specs, it looks like a nice little device considering its super-cheap pricing. That could make it a nice phone for young smartphone owners or someone that just wants an affordable handset.
