Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL will be available for Project Fi subscribers to use

Project Fi is the hybrid Wi-Fi/Cellular carrier run by Google. When in the range  of a Wi-Fi hotspot, Project Fi subscribers take advantage of that signal. When out of Wi-Fi range, the subscriber's handset figures out which of three cellular carriers is offering the best signal at the moment. Those three cellular partners of Profect Fi are T-Mobile, Sprint and U.S. Cellular.

With the introduction today of the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL, Project Fi now supports the Nexus 6, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X and the new Pixel handsets. While the service still works on the Nexus 6, that device is no longer available from Project Fi. The 32GB Pixel is priced at $649 or $27.04 monthly over 24 months. The 128GB Pixel will cost you $749 or 24 monthly payments of $31.20.

The 32GB Pixel XL is priced at $769, or $32.04 a month over two years. The 128GB Pixel XL will ring up at $869, or 24 monthly payments of $36.20.

The Nexus 6P has three different models. The 32GB unit costs $499 or $20.79 a month for 24 months. The 64GB unit is priced at $549 or $22.88 monthly for two years. The 128GB device is $649 or 24 monthly payments of $27.04. The Nexus 5X is available __with 16GB or 32GB of native storage. The former will cost you just $199 or $8.29 a month for 24 months. The latter is priced at $249 or 24 monthly payments of $10.38.

Project Fi is priced at $20 a month for unlimited talk and text. Data is priced at $10 per GB. Any money spent on unused data for a month is refunded to the customer.
