Several retailers have the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 on sale today at $250. The 8-inch version of the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 has a list price of $399 and usually goes for about $349. Overall, you're getting a discount of about 28% compared to the usual price.
The main highlight of the Galaxy Tab S2 is its bright and vibrant 2048 x 1536 Super AMOLED display __with an aspect ratio of 4:3. The S2 is slim as well, measuring an impressive 5.6mm across the waist.
If you're a mobile gaming fan, we'd like to point out that there are better alternatives out there. The Mali-T760 MP6 GPU integrated by the Exynos 5433 chipset that powers the Galaxy Tab S2 manifests the occasional performance hiccups when running demanding titles on the 2048×1536 Super AMOLED display, but the octa-core CPU (paired __with 3GB of RAM) is more than capable of handling processing-intensive tasks. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 may not be the most powerful tablet when it comes to 3D-intensive mobile gaming but the slab handles other tasks with ease.
The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 also comes with an 8MP primary camera, a 2.1MP secondary shooter, and a 4000mAh battery. The deal is good for the 32GB version of the slab. If you need more storage space, just slide in a microSD card and you're good to go.
