According to some fresh rumors that have surfaced today, the OnePlus 3T will be unveiled on November 14th. The device is expected to be priced at $480, or $80 more than the price of the OnePlus 3. There was some talk that the handset would carry an LCD display due to a shortage of AMOLED screens, but that report was shot down by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei.
The OnePlus 3T will feature most of the same specs seen on the OnePlus 3, such as a 5.5-inch display __with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. 6GB of RAM remains on board along with 64GB/128GB of native storage. The camera combo won't be changed (16MP back/8MP front) and the fingerprint scanner is also staying put. Also hanging around on the OnePlus 3T is the USB Type-C port, the 3000mAh battery and Dash Charge. Even the design will be staying the same.
The only changes that we can find appear to be the Snapdragon 821 SoC taking over for the Snapdragon 820 chipset. This should bring a 10% boost in performance and a 5% savings in battery power expended. And Android 7.0 will be loaded on the model right out of the box.
As for the OnePlus 4, a recent rumor suggested that the device will launch next summer with a Snapdragon 830 SoC running the show.
