Luckily, accessory makers have us covered. There are lens kits designed specifically for the latest iPhones, giving their cameras zooming capabilities and more. Here's a few of them that are worth your attention.
Olloclip
For several years now, Olloclip has been making sets of lenses for the iPhone. They've never been cheap, but they've always delivered great results, as our reviews have shown. Just recently, the company announced a new lens kit designed specifically for the iPhone 7, and the Active Lens Set is what you need if you want to enjoy some of that 2X zoom goodness. Flip the kit around and a 155-degree lens widens your viewing angles dramatically at the expense of added GoPro-like distortion.
Sure, $120 is a lot of money for just 2 lenses, but the investment could be worth it. Olloclip points out that its camera attachments use multi-element optics __with anti-reflective coating. They can be used on both the iPhone 7's front and rear cameras using the provided attachment. And on top of that, you get a wearable pendant stand that turns into a tiny tripod when you need one.
If the Active Lens Set is out of our budget, there are two cheaper iPhone 7 lens sets currently on sale. The Core Set comes with two lenses that can shoot 120-degree wide-angle photos, 15X macro images, and fisheye shots. And the Macro Pro Set gives your iPhone microscope-like abilities with up to 21X magnification.
- Olloclip Active Lens Set - $119.99
- Olloclip Core Set - $99.99
- Olloclip Macro Pro Set - $69.99
All sets fit both the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus

Moment
Back in 2014, a project for an iPhone lens kit appeared on Kickstarter. Named Moment, its goal was to empower mobile photographers to capture the beauty of the world around them. The product: wide-angle and telephoto lenses built with utmost attention to quality.
Moment lenses are now compatible with a total of 25 iOS and Android devices, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus included. The range of lenses includes a 2X telephoto lens, an 18-millimeter wide-angle lens, a 10X macro lens, and a superwide fisheye lens with a 15-millimeter focal length.

One downside of Moment's lenses is that they use a mounting plate to attach to the iPhone. Said plate is literally stuck to the device, which provides stability for the lens, but could get in the way of whatever case you're using. Moreover, the Jet Black iPhone 7 is said to be incompatible with the plate. But hey, Moment's lenses do seem to deliver great results! Check them out in the gallery below.
- Moment Tele Lens - $89.99
- Moment Wide Lens - $89.99
- Moment Superfish Lens - $89.99
- Moment Macro Lens - $79.99

ExoLens
To be interested in the ExoLens range of iPhone lenses, you have to be pretty serious about your phone photography. Just a single lens will set you back a 3-digit figure. But that is to be expected when a name like Zeiss is involved.
Right now, ExoLens has a couple of lenses designed to work with the iPhone 7. One is a 0.6X wide-angle lens and the other is a 2.0X telephoto, both made using high-quality Zeiss optical components. The lenses can be bought together with the aforementioned mounting bracket. Speaking of which, the bracket has a cold-shoe mount for attaching accessories, such as external flashes or microphones. And the set includes brackets for earlier iPhone models.
Again, ExoLens products are anything but cheap. The results, however, seem impressive, as can be seen in the gallery below.
- ExoLens 0.6X wide-angle lens - $199.95
- ExoLens 2.0X telephoto lens - $249.95

Kamerar
Can a $45 lens kit do the same job as the ones above? Apparently so. The Kamerar ZOOM set – made specifically for the iPhone 7 Plus – includes macro, telephoto, and fisheye lenses, all mountable on a convenient protective case. Better yet, the lenses cover both the iPhone's cameras, so you can enhance the macro capabilities of its main camera or extend the reach of its telephoto lens.
Realistically speaking, perhaps the quality of images shot with the Kamerar ZOOM isn't going to be as great as what you'd get out of any of the lenses mentioned above, but hey, this is still looking like good a good entry-level set of lenses, in case you just want to experiment with those. Plus, there's a special going on right now, giving you an extra $10 off if you're among the first to get a Kamerar lens kit.
