Not much is known about the foldable devices that Samsung and LG are planning to introduce in the third quarter of this year. Samsung's device is believed to have two screens that fold outward, turning a smartphone into a tablet and vice versa. The screens on LG's device reportedly fold in. Last month, LG received a patent for a foldable smartphone of its own .
