It turns out that the S8+ will come __with support for no less than 24 LTE bands, which is on par __with the current record holders the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, whose Japanese version supports no less than 25. The bands listed leads us to the conclusion that this is indeed the SM-G955F international model.
These units, however, are usually powered by an Exynos, and not a Snapdragon processor, and Qualcomm is the top dog when it comes to chipsets with integrated LTE modems, so either the international model is also with Snapdragon 835, or Samsung may have stepped up its Exynos chipset LTE modem game significantly in the new 8895 model that supports 1Gbps downloads - as fast as the 835. For comparison, the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge support a maximum of 20 LTE bands.
