Meizu's teaser reveals October 31st event

Meizu has posted a teaser that tells us to expect the manufacturer to hold an event on October 31st, Halloween Day. Will Meizu drop a trick or a treat into consumers' bags? The possible new devices being introduced could range from the high-end Meizu Pro 6s to the entry level Meizu M5. Earlier today, we gave you some more information about the former device as a couple of live images revealed some of the specs of the phone.

The MediaTek MT6796 is listed as the chipset under the hood of the Meizu Pro 6s. This unannounced chip is believed to carry a deca-core CPU. The handset also comes __with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The metal clad phone carries a 1080 x 1920 resolution screen of an unknown size.

The Meizu M5 also has an unknown screen size, the resolution of which is 720 x 1280. It is driven by MediaTek's MT6750 SoC which includes an octa-core CPU, and the Mali-T860 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside along __with 16GB of internal storage. A 13MP camera adorns the back of the unit.

Will Meizu give us a big bag of jelly beans for Halloween, or will it drop a big rock into our treat bag? We should know the answer to that in the not too distant future.
