U.S. law firm sues Samsung over Galaxy Note 7 recall

The Galaxy Note 7 fiasco continues to affect Samsung even after the South Korean company announced the second recall of the smartphone. In fact, the whole saga has become a never ending nightmare that eats at Samsung's resources and affects its brand image in unpredictable ways.

Although Samsung has yet to determine the cause of the Galaxy Note 7 explosions, it looks like many people and even companies feel betrayed by the way the South Korean handset maker handled the recall process.

U.S. law firm McCuneWright announce that it has filed a lawsuit on the matter of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recall. The plaintiffs seek reimbursement of cell phone service fees, but they're also looking for class-action status.

According to the cited law firm, during the Galaxy Note 7 recall they were left without phones for weeks and they were still charged for them.

While Samsung has offered consumers replacement phones or a refund, it has failed to reimburse consumers for monthly costs associated __with owning an unusable Note7 - said the law firm in a statement.

For the time being, Samsung hasn't reacted to the lawsuit and did not comment on the matter, but we're certain that this won't be the last class action involving the South Korean company.

It remains to be seen how Samsung will handle all the lawsuits that will pop up like mushrooms after a good rain, especially now that the handset maker is looking for ways to limit the disaster called Galaxy Note 7.
