However, the early start is only for the USA, Canada, and South Korea. Pre-ordering customers there will receive and will be ready to use their new smartphones before April 21, which is the global shipping date for the Galaxy S8 and S8+. This means the rest of the world will have to wait just a little longer.

What's more, fifty thousand Galaxy S8 owners who bought their handsets before May 31 will be treated to a year-long warranty, covering both battery exchanges and 50% discounts for broken screen replacements.
